Yeah.  the shows from the 90s where good like Powerpuffs, Dexter, Megas XLR, Samurai Jack, Rocko, Rugrats, Courage The Cowardly Dog, Catdog, Animaniacs, Ren And Stimpy (NOT THE SPIKE VERSION

But, All hope is not lost! I mean there are a few glimmers of hope for modern animation, Like Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Clarence, Legend of Korra, Wander Over Yonder, And the short lived special Over the Garden Wall

(debating whether to put on Adventure time or Regular Show)

Shows like Uncle Grandpa, Sanjay and Craig, And Breadwinners need to die. Like, Now.

Megas XLR is not a 90s cartoon, the pilot was shown in 2002 and then they aired the rest of the series in 2005.
Samurai Jack is also not a 90s cartoon, it first started in 2001.

some of the new cartoons are shit
modern spongebob, modern fairly odd parents, pokemon x and y cartoon (my opinion), New family guy (again, my own calm and objected opinion), rabbits invasion, almost all Disney sitcoms (girl meets world and ant farm were pretty good)
the 90's had awesome shows
almost all cartoon network shows were amazing, nicktoons were actually really great and didn't have to air only spongebob, pokemon season one (one of the best seasons to me. good theme song, original characters, better stories, etc.), digimon( digimon was great, I'm gonna say it now), and the best thing Disney has ever done, Darthwing Duck

90s cartoons are great. My favorites are "Daria", "Exosquad", "X-Men: The Animated Series" "Batman: The Animated Series", "Gargoyles", "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist", "Mighty Max", "Cybersix", "Godzilla: The Series", "Roswell Conspiracies", etc.

I really miss Fox Kids, USA Action Extreme Team, Fox Family, BKN, the old MTV (when the channel made sense) and cartoons on first-run syndication (like KBHK channel 44 and KOFY channel 20 in the San Francisco Bay Area)

I didn't say all of them are good. I only said the ones that are my favorites are good.

There are some 90s cartoons I didn't like. And there are some terrible 90s cartoons (like The Wacky World of Tex Avery, Pinky, Elmyra & The Brain, The Brothers Grunt, etc.)

Yeah... but some of them are only good for the first season, or just not good at all. Especially the remakes.

But some remakes are made to introduce old characters and concepts to a new generation, not to sell out or ruin that portion of the older fans' childhoods.

That's why I said "some". For example, I think the new ninja turtles show is pretty good, but personally, I hated the PowerPuff Girls adaptation and nor did I love "Voltron Force".
And also, before you respond with there are other shows that did better or something of the like, please remember: This is MY personal opinion. You don't have to like it. I'm not going to sit here and engage in a pointless battle of tastes about CARTOONS.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I you don't like mine, I don't care. I didn't ask you for your in put on a comment I made about MY personal preference.

I loved a lot of these shows and still do to this day, back when we had good writing and good animation. Our cartoons should be evolving not going down to the level of a kindergartener with plot and drawing...

Adventure Time, although having a simple art style, has substance. It can give backstory to characters(Simon and Marcy), it's writing is both juvenile and sophisticated, there are loads of characters who go through their own development and the audience sometimes learns more about the land of Ooh. Adventure Time is a modern classic.

Well that is my opinion, that the drawings are horrible. They look so bad I couldn't stand the show, and most people I know feel the same way. I've seen children's drawings that look a thousand times better than that, so no, they don't know what they are doing. Just some people like that and some don't, simple as that.
